You don't have to add contacts one at a time. Alps supports bulk import from a CSV file, and export in the other direction, so moving contacts in and out of your workspace is straightforward.
Importing contacts
From the Contacts page, open the import dialog and upload a CSV file. You'll be able to see how your columns line up with Alps fields before anything is created, so you can fix a mismatched column instead of finding out after the fact.
Exporting contacts
You can export your full contact list, or just a selection you've picked from the table, as a CSV file. This is useful for reporting, backups, or handing a segment of contacts to another tool.
CSV import versus the sync API
CSV import is best for a one-time job, for example migrating from another tool or loading an initial contact list. If you want contacts created and updated automatically as things happen in your own product, a signup, an upgrade, a plan change, use the sync API instead, which keeps Alps up to date without any manual re-uploading.
