Connecting email lets your team handle support emails right inside Alps, alongside every other conversation, instead of switching over to a separate mailbox.
Before you begin
You'll need access to your domain's DNS settings. Verifying a sending domain requires adding a few DNS records, so it helps to have someone with DNS access on hand, or the access yourself.
Adding an email channel
From Settings, go to Channels, and add a new Email channel. Alps will give you SPF, DKIM, and MX records to add at your domain provider. These records prove to email providers that Alps is allowed to send email on your domain's behalf, which keeps your messages out of spam folders.
Verifying your domain
Once the DNS records are added, verification usually completes within a few minutes, though DNS changes can occasionally take longer to propagate. You'll see the channel's status update once it's verified and ready to send and receive.
