Linking Tickets to Conversations

Connect a ticket to the conversation it came from, so the full context stays one click away no matter which view your team is working in.

A ticket often starts life as a conversation, a customer reports a bug or asks for something that needs real follow-up work. Linking the ticket back to that conversation keeps the full context together instead of splitting it across two disconnected records.

Why link them

A linked ticket lets anyone jump straight from the structured work item to the original conversation with the customer, and back again. This matters most when the person resolving the ticket isn't the same person who originally replied to the customer.

How linking works

When you create a ticket from a conversation, the link is created automatically. You can also link an existing ticket to a conversation manually if the connection wasn't made at creation time.

Tickets can stand alone
A ticket doesn't have to come from a conversation at all. Internal work, projects, or requests that never touched the Inbox can live as standalone tickets with no conversation attached.
