Setting Up Your AI Agent

Give your AI agent a name, a persona, and a description of your business so it represents your brand accurately in every conversation.

Your AI agent is the first line of support for customers, answering common questions instantly so your team can focus on the conversations that actually need a human. Setting it up starts with giving it an identity.

Giving it an identity

  • Name – what the AI introduces itself as.

  • Persona – the tone it should use, whether that's formal, casual, or somewhere in between.

  • Business description – context about what your company does, so its answers stay relevant to your actual product.

  • Avatar – the image shown alongside its messages.

Where to configure it

Open Settings, then Alps AI, and go to the Agent tab to set these details. Changes take effect the next time the AI responds to a customer.

Next: training
An identity alone doesn't make the AI useful. It needs to be trained on your actual content before it can answer real questions accurately.
