Customizing the Contact Card Layout

Choose which cards appear on a contact's profile, from built-in cards like Company and Tickets to your own custom cards built from custom properties.

A contact's profile page is made of cards, and you decide which ones show up and in what order. This means every teammate sees the information that actually matters for your business, instead of a generic profile layout that doesn't fit how you work.

Built-in cards

Alps ships with a set of ready-made cards you can add to any contact profile:

  • Profile – name, avatar, and core identity fields.

  • Personal Info – phone, language, and other personal details.

  • Company – company name, job title, website, and employee count.

  • Address – mailing or billing address.

  • Tickets – the tickets linked to this contact.

  • Conversations – recent conversations with this contact.

  • Payments – payment history, if billing data is connected.

  • Notes – free-text notes your team has added.

Company is not a separate contact list

If you're used to a CRM with a standalone Companies section, note that Alps doesn't have one. Company details, name, job title, website, and employee count, live directly on the contact as fields, surfaced through the Company card.

Building a custom card

If you've created custom properties that don't fit neatly into a built-in card, you can group them into a custom card of your own, with its own title and its own set of fields. This is useful for grouping several related custom properties together, for example everything related to a loyalty program or an internal account tier.

Rearranging cards

The card layout is saved per workspace, so once you've arranged it the way your team needs, every contact profile follows the same layout automatically.
